Last night it was stormy. Raining hard, lightning, and loud thunder was overtaking the sky around me.
It was the perfect night for old movies with a little bit of magic.
As I was watching i discussed with my daughter how I wish there was a story for the 2 aunts.
Sally mentions that the aunts like to mettle with peoples love lives and we see a small part of that with the bird and the lady who wants the man to love her back.
But why do we never get to see when they were young? I would love to see how they got the reputation of witches maybe it was passed down through whispers and history but what made them go into business of love spells?
Also was their mom the sister to the aunts? Or were they actually her aunts? (I’m assuming grand-aunts but they never actually say)
And what happened to her mom’s sister? did she not have one? Was she alone like Maria? Is this why she took her own life?
I would honestly love to see the aunts as teens and young adults. What happened to their loves? why did they end up living in the house together? did they never have children? what happened to Gillian and Sally’s grandmother then? If they are the grand-aunts where is the grandma?
So many questions….
