Poetry With Me

If I could unknow you, I would.
I would forget your smile. Forget the way you look at me and the way you hold my hand when you’re tired and ready for sleep. I would forget the way your voice sounds and the way your eyes look when you’re happy and especially how they look when you’re sad.

I would forget every touch, every desire to be near you.

I wish with all of me that if I could forget one person forever that it would be you.
