Have you been waiting for someone or something to happen before you can do whatever it is your mind is telling you that you can’t achieve just yet?

Stop waiting. Just do.

Whether you are waiting on the love of your life to realize you exist or waiting for a promotion or for the rain to stop falling you are wasting valuable precious time you won’t get back.

I waited and I lived in a cloud of smoke just waiting for the smoke to clear for the one day that things would be better but they never were. When I stopped waiting it felt almost defiant, almost like I was wrong for moving on with my life but was I?

Why must I wait for someone or something else to see my greatness and why should you? You are great without having the promotion, the lover, the sun.

Allow yourself to be great or maybe allow yourself to be greater. Stop allowing the what ifs to control you.

Yes what if the love of your life marries someone else? Maybe they weren’t your great love then. What if the promotion passes you by? Maybe you were meant to have that job for a season and you held on too long and the Creator is telling you to let it go. What if the rain doesn’t stop? Maybe you aren’t meant to live in rain and you need to get up and move away from it!

What if ….

But what if you didn’t wait? What could the outcome be then? What if you took that job you were afraid to because you didn’t think you were qualified? what if you fell in love with someone who actually loved you back? What if you moved where the sun shines everyday and your skin is allowed to soak up all the rays it’s been dreaming of?

What if you created the life you were meant to have?
